Your dog can sharpen skills with weekly hour-long sessions and daily 45-minute practice sessions, covering vital commands like sit and down stays, recall, loose leash walking, and heel and tackling typical behavior problems. Moreover, we pay attention to teaching proper greetings, underlining the significance of nutrition and exercise, and reinforcing obedience commands amidst distractions up to 30 feet away. Elevate your dog’s abilities with our Intermediate Obedience Training levels, tailored to prepare them for AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine evaluations, providing a well-mannered pet certification and legal advantages. AKC® Trick Dog Classes

Enroll in our AKC® Trick Dog Class at It’s A Dog’s World K9 Academy and experience pure joy with your furry pal! In this 6-week course, your dog will be introduced to a variety of exciting tricks, such as jumping through a hoop, shaking paws, barking on command, spinning in circles, high-fiving, crawling, playing dead, and more. Your dog can obtain an AKC® “Novice” or “Intermediate” Trick Dog Title by displaying a predetermined number of tricks.

The Novice test involves presenting 10 tricks (or 5 with a CGC title), while Intermediate involves showcasing an additional 10 tricks. Managed by AKC®-approved CGC Evaluators, our session caters to dogs aged 6 months and above who have fulfilled the prerequisites of Basic Obedience or an equivalent training regimen. AKC® Urban CGC

Enroll in our AKC® CGC dog training program for a targeted and hands-on method to improve canine conduct in public environments. Equip your dog to handle outdoor situations like crowds, traffic, and store visits with this class. Join us on Saturdays at 1:00 pm for sessions that end with a test. Essential prerequisites are possessing the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration number. It should be noted that aggressive behavior is not allowed, and service or adopted dogs qualify for a $10 discount. If your dog has greater training needs and doesn’t qualify for this course, we can put you in touch with a dog reactivity trainer or dog aggression trainer.
