Your dog can sharpen skills with daily 45-minute practice sessions and weekly hour-long sessions, tackling typical behavior problems and covering vital commands like recall, down and sit stays, heel, and loose leash walking. We also emphasize the significance of proper nutrition and regular exercise, instruct on suitable greeting behaviors, and strengthen obedience commands with distractions at distances of up to 30 feet. Join our AKC® Trick Dog Class at It’s A Dog’s World K9 Academy and embark on a fun-filled journey with your furry companion! Over 6 weeks, your dog will be introduced to numerous enjoyable tricks, including shaking paws, barking on command, jumping through a hoop, spinning in circles, playing dead, high-fiving, crawling, and more. Earning an AKC® “Novice” or “Intermediate” Trick Dog Title is attainable for your dog by executing a set number of tricks.

The Novice test involves presenting 10 tricks (or 5 with a CGC title), while Intermediate involves showcasing an additional 10 tricks. Directed by AKC®-accredited CGC Evaluators, our workshop is open to dogs aged 6 months and up who have completed Basic Obedience or a comparable training regimen. Service Dog Training

Experience our comprehensive Covina service dog training, guided by a certified service dog trainer. The journey starts with our K-9 trainer offering a no-cost consultation and assessment to gauge your dog’s appropriateness and assistance needs. Following the introductory session, your service dog trainer in Covina will devise a specialized K-9 training plan divided into three stages. These phases consist of group classes such as Basic, Urban Canine, and CGC Level I & II, alongside private field sessions, individual lessons held either at your residence or another location with a local K-9 trainer, and train and board options. Key requirements involve having the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration number. Remember that aggressive behavior is not permitted, and service or adopted dogs receive a $10 discount.
