Service Dog Training
Embark on our Colton service dog training journey, under the guidance of a certified service dog trainer. Our K-9 trainer starts with a complimentary consultation and assessment to determine your dog’s assistance needs and suitability for the program. Upon completing the initial consultation, your service dog trainer in Colton will devise a customized, three-phase K-9 training program. These phases include group sessions like CGC Level I & II, Urban Canine, and Basic, in addition to board and train options, private field sessions, and individual lessons held either at your home or in another location with a local K-9 trainer. As part of the training, your dog will undergo testing for certifications like AKC Canine Good Citizen®, a Public Access Test, AKC Community Canine®, and Urban Canine Good Citizen®.
Even though the training is intensive, not all dogs will succeed, and some may not be well-qualified, those that do successfully complete the program receive a Certification ID card. Your K-9 trainer in Colton emphasizes the importance of your active participation and availability for instruction and lessons in your dog’s comprehensive training, as long as you are physically able to do so. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us for additional details and to schedule your consultation appointment.
