Obedience Training

Discover the fun and efficiency of training your dog with our Group Obedience courses. Over a span of 7 weeks, you’ll benefit from a personalized approach in a group limited to 12 owners and dogs as you work with a dedicated local dog trainer. Daily 45-minute practice sessions are paired with weekly hour-long sessions, diving deep into managing prevalent behavioral issues and mastering key commands like loose leash walking, recall, heel, and down and sit stays. We also focus on reinforcing obedience commands with distractions reaching up to 30 feet, instilling proper greeting behavior, and stressing the value of a balanced diet and regular exercise. Progress your dog’s capabilities with our Intermediate Obedience Training tiers, aimed at equipping them for AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine evaluations, granting a well-mannered pet certification and legal benefits. Watch your dog flourish in obedience and social etiquette with our guidance!

AKC® Urban CGC

Choose our AKC® CGC dog training program to experience a structured and effective method for refining canine behavior in public areas. Ready your dog for real-world obstacles like crowds, traffic, and shopping trips with this class. Sessions take place on Saturdays at 1:00 pm and end with a test. Key requirements involve having the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration number. Note that aggressive behavior isn’t permitted, and adopted or service dogs enjoy a $10 discount. If your dog doesn’t qualify for this course because of challenging behavior, we can connect you to a dog aggression trainer or dog reactivity trainer for added support.

Service Dog Training

Dive into our Moreno Valley service dog training – a complete program led by a certified service dog trainer. A K-9 trainer will begin with a free consultation and assessment to determine your dog’s suitability and assistance needs. After the initial assessment, your service dog trainer in Moreno Valley will develop a specialized K-9 training protocol spanning three stages. This includes group sessions such as Basic, CGC Level I & II, and Urban Canine, alongside private field sessions, one-on-one sessions either off-site or at home with a local K-9 trainer, and training or boarding options. The training curriculum includes assessments for credentials such as a Public Access Test, AKC Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Community Canine®, and Urban Canine Good Citizen®.

While the training is demanding, not all dogs will pass, and some may not be good candidates, those who do pass the course will receive a Certification ID card upon successful completion. Your K-9 trainer in Moreno Valley will ask that you make yourself available for instruction and lessons, as you’ll be an active participant (as long as you are physically able) in your dog’s comprehensive training. Feel free to contact us for more information and to schedule your consultation session.
