Our K-9 trainer gets things started with a free consultation and assessment to evaluate your dog’s support needs and program compatibility. After the consultation, your service dog trainer in Artesia will craft a customized K-9 training program spanning three phases. This includes group sessions such as Basic, CGC Level I & II, and Urban Canine, alongside private field sessions, one-on-one sessions either off-site or at home with a local K-9 trainer, and training or boarding options. Certification exams including Urban Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Community Canine®, a Public Access Test, and AKC Canine Good Citizen® are incorporated into the training.
Some dogs won’t be suitable for the course or able to complete it because of its demanding nature, but dogs who are successful will earn a Certification ID card.
