Participate in our AKC® CGC dog training sessions for a precise and pragmatic strategy aimed at improving canine behavior in public settings. Equip your dog to handle outdoor situations like crowds, traffic, and store visits with this class. Join us on Saturdays at 1:00 pm for sessions followed by a test. Prerequisites include holding the Canine Good Citizen certification and having an AKC® registration number. Be aware that aggressive behavior is not tolerated, and service or adopted dogs enjoy a $10 discount.

Obedience Training

Sign your dog up for our Group Obedience classes for an enjoyable and impactful training experience. Join a small group of up to 12 owners and their dogs, and take advantage of the knowledge and skills of a local dog trainer during a 7-week program. Weekly hour-long sessions are complemented by daily 45-minute practice sessions, covering essential commands like loose leash walking, heel, sit and down stays, recall, and addressing common behavioral issues. Furthermore, we advocate for proper nutrition and exercise, reinforcing obedience commands even in the presence of distractions that are up to 30 feet away, and concentrate on teaching appropriate greetings. Take your dog’s abilities to the next level with our Intermediate Obedience Training courses, designed to prepare them for evaluations like AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine, providing legal advantages and a well-mannered pet certification. Watch your dog thrive in obedience and social settings with our program!

Service Dog Training

Enroll your dog in our Fontana service dog training – a detailed program spearheaded by a certified service dog trainer. A K-9 trainer will begin with a free consultation and assessment to determine your dog’s suitability and assistance needs. Upon completing the initial consultation, your service dog trainer in Fontana will develop a tailored K-9 training program consisting of three phases. These phases include group sessions like Urban Canine,CGC Level I & II, and Basic, along with individual lessons held either at your residence or elsewhere with a local K-9 trainer, train and board options, and private field sessions. Certification exams like Urban Canine Good Citizen®, a Public Access Test, AKC Community Canine®, and AKC Canine Good Citizen® will be part of the training.

Although the training is challenging, not all dogs will pass, and some may not be the right fit, those who successfully complete the program receive a Certification ID card. Your K-9 trainer in Fontana will ask that you make yourself available for instruction and lessons, as you’ll be an active participant (as long as you are physically able) in your dog’s comprehensive training.
