Day Training
If you want your dog to have all the benefits of board and train without leaving them for an extended amount of time, this is the ideal program for you. This program is identical to our traditional Board & Train program, with the only exception being that your dog will not spend the night. The five day per week schedule is Tuesday - Saturday drop-off and pick-up with a lesson at the end of each week. Whether you have a rambunctious young puppy, a dog struggling with behavioral issues, or anything in between our trainers are equipped to help your dog get on the right path!
A copy of current vaccination records are required before the program begins. Rabies, DHPP or DAP, Bordetella (must be within a 6 month period). You may email the records to us at thebestdog@verizon.net. Flea and tick prevention is also required for all dogs that are training or socializing on the property. This can be oral, topical or a collar.
These packages cover everything from the very basic fundamental skills such as: Heel (leash walking), sit, down, stay, come, place (impulse control), wait (boundary control), socialization, and good manners! All the behaviors are taught on a leash 6ft to 30ft. In these packages, you will receive additional private lessons at our facility or in your home. The 4-week package includes a group class as well.
The training fee is $650 per week. The boarding is provided by Chino's Caring Kennel. Below 40 pounds: $19 per day. Above 40 pounds: $21.50 per day. The appropriate course length will be assessed at a consultation prior to training. The cost is $25. This fee will be applied to the program that is chosen.
Basic Package (2 weeks): The basic skills are taught in this course. Heel, sit, down, stay and come. We also work on good manners and address: jumping, play-biting, mouthing, & crate training.
Deluxe Package (3 weeks): The basic skills are taught in this course. Heel, sit, down, stay and come. We also work on good manners and address: jumping, play-biting, mouthing, & crate training. We also teach place (impulse control) and wait (boundary control).
Premier Package (4 weeks): The basic skills are taught in this course. Heel, sit, down, stay and come. We also work on good manners and address: jumping, play-biting, mouthing, & crate training. We also teach place (impulse control), wait (boundary control), leave-it and drop-it.
Behavior Modification
Specialized programs built specifically to target behavioral issues such as reactivity, anxiety, fear and aggression. Your dog will also be taught the basic obedience behaviors: Heel (leash walking), sit, down, stay, come, place (impulse control), wait (boundary control), socialization, and good manners!

Off-Leash
Turn your dog into the ultimate adventure buddy or well-mannered pup without the need for a leash! Off-leash obedience is taught utilizing an e-collar. Dogs MUST be appropriate (no aggression or reactivity). An E-Collar is required for this program. Dogtra 280C or Mini Educator. This is included in the price.
