Service Dog Training
Our Glendora service dog training is a comprehensive program led by a certified service dog trainer. Our K-9 trainer starts the process with a no-cost consultation and assessment, evaluating your dog’s suitability and support requirements. Upon completing the initial consultation, your service dog trainer in Glendora will tailor a K-9 training program covering three phases. These phases include group sessions like CGC Level I & II, Urban Canine, and Basic, in addition to board and train options, private field sessions, and individual lessons held either at your home or in another location with a local K-9 trainer. The training regimen involves evaluations for credentials such as AKC Community Canine®, Urban Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Canine Good Citizen®, and a Public Access Test.
Because of the challenging nature of the training, not every dog will succeed, and some may not meet the criteria, but those who complete training will receive a Certification ID card. Your K-9 trainer in Glendora will detail the importance of your active involvement and readiness for instruction and lessons in your dog’s comprehensive training, as long as you are physically able to participate. Reach out to us for more details and arrange your consultation appointment.
Obedience Training
Engage in a rewarding and impactful training experience for your dog with our Group Obedience courses. Join a small group of up to 12 owners and their dogs, and take advantage of the knowledge and skills of a local dog trainer during a 7-week program. Weekly hour-long sessions are paired with daily 45-minute practice sessions, diving deep into key commands like sit and down stays, heel, recall, and loose leash walking and managing prevalent behavioral issues. Additionally, we focus on reinforcing obedience commands with distractions within a 30-foot radius, promoting a healthy diet and regular exercise, and teaching the right way to greet. Our two levels of Intermediate Obedience Training further enhance your dog’s skills, preparing them for the AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine evaluations, offering legal benefits and a well-mannered pet certification. You’ll be amazed by your dog’s mastery of obedience and social manners after spending some time with us!
AKC® Urban CGC
Enroll in our AKC® CGC dog training program to benefit from a targeted and results-oriented approach to improving canine behavior in public spaces. Get your dog prepared for outdoor hurdles like crowds, traffic, and stores through this class. Join us on Saturdays at 1:00 pm for sessions that end with a test. Mandatory conditions include having the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration ID.
