AKC Canine Good Citizen
Prove to the world, or maybe just family and friends, how trained your dog is! The American Kennel Club has a series of tests designed to test your dog’s obedience, temperament, and relationship with you. We offer all levels of the Canine Good Citizen testing in the form of private lessons and group class settings.
All levels of testing are to be done without the use of food and training aids/tools (prong collar, gentle leader, front clip harness, or choke chain). Your dog MUST successfully complete each test to pass and receive the title, certificate, and ribbon. If you do not pass the first time, don’t stress. There is no limit to the number of attempts. Our trainers follow the guidelines of the American Kennel Club to the T and will read the items straight from the handbook which will also be available for you to view.
