What is the number #1 thing most puppy owners do wrong? They don’t start their puppy in a good puppy class from the start.
Getting a well behaved dog starts at 8 – 10 weeks of age. Good puppies are well socialized, well-rounded that have been trained with lots of positive reinforcement.
Do you want a dog that your veterinarian and groomer loves to see, that willingly gives up a valued object like a tasty bone on command, or have a dog come when called? To achieve these desired results, it all starts with a good puppy class. Good puppy classes will have puppy socialization exercises as well as puppy basic obedience. Your puppy trainer will also focus on teaching things like getting the puppy to accept grooming and veterinary examinations and to give up valued objects such as bones and chew toys happily on cue. One of our favorite exercises in our Chino puppy training classes to do fake veterinary exams while we feed puppies yummy treats. We love teaching our puppies in our Chino puppy training to get used to new experiences such as stairs, skateboards, bikes, strollers, and more. And, of course it is so much fun to watch puppies play! In every class, we give the puppies time to interact with other puppies of all sizes and temperaments and help them get some of that puppy energy out!
